Heron Labs — Agami

Problem. Fixed sampling locations leave gaps in our picture of changing river conditions.

Solution. Agami is a semi-autonomous surface vessel that collects GPS-tagged nitrate, conductivity, turbidity and temperature measurements while travelling through waterways.

My contribution. I co-founded Heron Labs and led major parts of Agami's technical development: the analogue and embedded sensing stack, ESP32 firmware, LTE/GNSS telemetry, GPS navigation, web-based monitoring, electronics integration and iterative field testing.

Worked on a competition robot with the VEX Robotics team, helping us reach a peak ranking of #1 in Europe during the 2026 season. We went to the World Championship in St. Louis after raising the money through sponsorships and even speaking on 96FM.
